SHREVEPORT, LA – A 44-year-old man from Pearland, Texas, lost his life to a solo tractor-trailer collision that happened on I-220 last Thursday, April 24.
Shreveport police told KSLA that the Texas man was driving on I-220 West when he lost control of his red-colored big rig and crashed into a guardrail and a concrete wall. Officers and Shreveport fire crews arrived at the accident scene after 10 p.m. Upon arrival, officials declared the victim dead at the scene.
Authorities later identified the man as Irving Brown III.
Police are actively working to determine why Brown lost control of his truck.
