MACON COUNTY, GA – A 43-year-old male log truck driver died after colliding with a train adjacent to the Macon State Prison Monday, WGXA TV reports.
The collision occurred at 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of Stagecoach Road and Buckeye Road. Authorities have since identified the victim as Eric Walton, a Macon local.
The Macon County Sheriff’s Office and the Georgia Motor Carrier Compliance Division are investigating the details behind this wreck.
