ATLANTA, GA – Georgia Department of Transportation crews had to shut down the I-285 East off-ramp connecting to I-75 South on Monday due to a big rig rollover wreck.
Atlanta First News said the collision took place before 5 a.m. After arriving, crews immediately issued closures to clean up debris that was scattered in both directions and to remove the disabled vehicle. During these closures, workers urged drivers to use I-675 as an alternative route.
The events leading to the wreck, including reports of injuries, have not been disclosed. All lanes reopened around 8 a.m.
