HELFIN, AL – A 58-year-old man lost his life after he crashed his 2013 Temsa TS35 motor coach into a 2019 Peterbilt semi-truck on I-20 Sunday.
The collision occurred before 4:45 p.m. near mile marker 196 on the outskirts of Helfin, ABC 3340 reports.
Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division identified the 58-year-old man as Hollis L. Stewart and the truck driver as 69-year-old Danny Murphy from Leighton.
Stewart died at the scene, while Murphy appeared to have been unharmed.
Authorities launched an investigation and have not released additional information at this time.
