Roanoke County Police called to big rig-pedestrian wreck

ROANOKE, VA – Roanoke County police were summoned to the scene of a collision on Plantation Road involving a big rig and a pedestrian last Monday, April 7.

Officers told WDBJ7 that the crash had taken place between Williamson Road and Robertson Lane and left crews no choice but to shut down the area for scene clearance.

Police are investigating the events leading to the wreck and have not listed the pedestrian’s current physical condition.
