1 hospitalized after fiery truck wreck in Center Point  

CENTER POINT, AL – One person was hospitalized for critical, life-threatening injuries after a fiery collision with a delivery big rig last Wednesday, April 2.

Local fire crews told AL that the semi-truck collided with a passenger truck around 1:15 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 79 and Goodrich Drive. The impact led to both vehicles catching fire.

The two other individuals were treated at the crash site.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and State DOT crews responded to the scene.

Authorities have not specified which driver was at fault or listed any citations or criminal charges.
