SURRENCY, GA – A bus driver had cut off a semi-truck driver, leading to a crash that injured both motorists and three children Monday, WIJCL reports.
The collision happened around 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of GA 121 and DM Tillman Road. The truck driver hit the bus’ left side, and the bus veered off the road and crashed into a ditch.
EMS crews transported the three kids on the bus and both drivers to an Appling County Hospital for minor injuries.
Georgia State Patrol said all occupants were released from the hospital.
Authorities have not disclosed the contributing factors behind the wreck or said if the school bus driver was cited.
