AFTON, VA – The Albemarle County police are investigating the details behind what led a big rig to crash and spill several pills of corn kernels last Wednesday.
The collision happened before 10:30 a.m. on the 9000th block of Rockfish Gap Turnpike, according to 29 News.
The spillage did not lead to any road closures. However, officials did advise drivers to proceed with caution as the sight and smell of corn could attract animals to the area.
The extent of the injuries is unknown.
