WEST GREEN, GA – A Nissan Rogue driver lost his life, and an 18-wheeler motorist sustained minor injuries in a head-on wreck Wednesday.
Dylan Brown, the Nissan driver, was traveling north on the highway when he drifted into the southbound lanes and collided with the truck head-on, WALB said. Georgia State Patrol pulled up to the scene before 9 a.m. and declared Brown dead at the scene.
Troopers have not said why Brown lost control of his vehicle.
Highway 221 and Cedar Ridge Road were shut down for several hours to accommodate the scene clearance process.
