2 big rig, trash truck wreck in Memphis sends person to hospital 

MEMPHIS, TN – One person was hospitalized following a crash between two big rigs and a trash truck east of Memphis International Airport Wednesday.

One of the semi-trucks had overturned after colliding with the two other trucks at East Shelby Drive and Malone Road, WREG reports. The wreck happened before 8:30 a.m., and Memphis police arrived promptly and closed the westbound and eastbound lanes.

The patient’s exact physical condition is unclear, but first responders said they are recovering from “non-critical” injuries.
