APOPKA, FL – A collision involving a semi-truck carrying Bud Light near Apopka left one person seriously injured, according to WKMG.
Troopers say a 2020 Chevrolet Malibu ran the red light on US-441 at Boy Scout Boulevard at about 6:30 a.m. on July 21st and collided with the truck as it was making the left turn.
The Chevrolet’s driver was flown to an area hospital with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries. His identity is not mentioned in the report.
The driver of the beer truck, a 36-year-old man from Deltona, was unhurt.
Drivers in the area faced major delays following the crash as crews worked to clear the beer cans and other debris.
