NORTH PORT, FL – A driver of a truck with a crane had failed to reduce their speed, causing them to rear-end a big rig and the crane truck to flip over on I-75 South Wednesday.
The collision happened before 11 a.m. near Kings Highway and also caused hydraulic oil to spill from the truck, according to WINK News. After the trucks collided, the driver of a third vehicle struck debris from the wreck. Florida Highway Patrol said at least one person sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
North Port police also responded to the scene.
