BRIDGE CITY, TX – A 48-year-old man was speeding when he rear-ended his semi-truck into another big rig, causing him to suffer fatal injuries Tuesday.
The wreck took place at around 5:15 a.m., in the 500th block of Texas Avenue, according to KFDM.
EMS crews transported the 48-year-old man and the second truck driver to CHRISTUS St. Elizabeth Hospital. There, the 48-year-old man passed away. Bridge City police have identified him as Keith Kuffler, from Iota, Louisiana.
The surviving occupant was identified as Raymond McCain III, 30. McCain was treated for non-life-threatening wounds.
