Car driver dies after rear-ending parked semi in Coconut Creek 

COCONUT CREEK, FL – A 30-year-old man driving a 2016 black Toyota RAV4 died after he rear-ended a parked 2020 red Freightliner semi-truck on Florida’s Turnpike shoulder Tuesday.

The collision happened before 2 a.m. in the southbound directions, according to Local 10.

Coconut Creek Fire Rescue and EMS hurried the North Miami Beach man to Broward Health North. The man suffered fatal injuries before 2:30 a.m.

It is unclear if the truck driver and the victim’s passenger, a 55-year-old man from Buffalo, New York, were harmed.
