NORTH AUSTIN, TX – Austin Travis County EMS and the Austin Fire Department were summoned to the scene of a multi-vehicle crash with injuries involving a semi-truck Tuesday.

Authorities arrived at the 12300th block of North Interstate Highway 35 South after 5:45 p.m. They said one person was pinned inside their vehicle. Fire crews were able to successfully extricate the pinned individual before ATCEMS took two people to Dell Seton Medical Center.
The hospitalized occupants are recovering from non-life-threatening wounds, while the five other individuals appeared to have been unharmed.
