At least 1 killed in Seguin ice cream truck rollover wreck 

SEGUIN, TX – At least one person lost their life when a Blue Bell ice cream truck crashed into a guardrail and overturned on FM 467 near Sweethome Road Saturday. 

According to My San Antonio, the crash was reported around 10:45 a.m. and warranted a response from the Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office, Texas Department of Public Safety, and crew. Upon arrival, authorities declared a person dead at the scene. The victim’s identity has not been released, and officials did not say if slick road conditions were a factor in the wreck. 

Officials had to shut down the area for several hours, starting at 10:45 a.m. and ending at 3:14 p.m., for the scene clearance process.

Troopers have not been able to provide a definitive answer regarding the cause of the crash since the investigation remains in the preliminary stages.
