EASLEY, SC – A collision involving a dump truck and a moped in Easley on Monday morning claimed the life of a woman from Liberty, according to WYFF.
Troopers say the crash occurred on Greenville Highway near Cartee Road at about 7 a.m.
The moped rider, 31-year-old Brandi Black, suffered blunt force injuries and was pronounced dead a short time later. It is unclear whether the dump truck’s driver suffered any injuries.
First responders say the impact severed a gas line on the moped, which sparked a fire as a result.
