Man, 42, dies after rollover semi-truck crash in Grayson County

GRAYSON COUNTY, TX – One person was killed and two others suffered injuries Monday morning, December 30, as a result of a two-vehicle wreck in Denison, according to 12 KXII.

Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) officials said the incident occurred on a stretch of Grayson Drive near Grayson College, shortly before 8:00 a.m.

An early investigation shows a 42-year-old man was driving a semi-truck westbound on FM-691. At one point, he veered past the center line, causing the semi to sideswipe a Ford cargo van. Moments later, the semi rolled into a nearby ditch.

First responders pronounced the semi driver deceased at the scene.

The driver of the Ford cargo van, 63, and his passenger, 58, sustained injuries considered non-life-threatening. Both patients were transported to Texoma Medical Center.

No charges or citations have been reported at this time.
