STONECREST, GA – Dekalb County Police suspect a pickup truck driver struck a patch of ice while driving on the road, leading to a crash with a rental box truck that resulted in their death.
This fatal collision occurred before 6 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Panola Road and Thompson Mill Road, according to WSBTV. The box truck driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with detectives.
Police are working to determine additional information and have not released more details with respect to this crash nor released the victim’s identity.
