Multi-truck crash on I-10 near MS, LA border seriously injures 1

PASS CHRISTIAN, MS – A collision involving a box truck and a semi-truck near the Louisiana border on Wednesday, July 12th left one person seriously injured.

According to the Sun Herald, the crash occurred at about 11:30 a.m. in the westbound lanes of the interstate about 2 miles east of the Pearl River Bridge.

The driver of the box truck, whose identity is unclear at this time, was airlifted to a local hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries. It is unclear whether the driver of the second truck involved was hurt.

The roadway was shut down for sometime following the crash. Drivers are advised to anticipate ongoing lane closures and traffic disruptions in the vicinity until August 11th, as repairs are underway on the bridge.
