Stop sign runner causes fatal flatbed truck wreck in Aberdeen

ABERDEEN, NC – A driver of a Kia SUV ran a stop sign and collided with a flatbed truck, causing the truck to leave the road, hit a pine tree, and claim the truck driver’s life Saturday.

This collision happened before 11 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. 501 and Pee Dee Road, according to CBS 17. The impact also led the Kia to drift off the road and led the Kia driver and their passenger to sustain serious wounds, both of whom were airlifted to a trauma center.
