CONCORD, TN – A man operating a garbage truck had to go to a trauma center after his vehicle overturned and crashed along Concord Park Wednesday.
This collision happened around 7:30 a.m. in the area of South Northshore Drive and Concord Park Drive and left the man either pinned or entrapped, WATE stated. Once fire crews pulled up to the scene, they immediately tended to the man and were able to successfully extricate him.
The man is currently recovering from injuries deemed non-life-threatening. Crews shut down the area to accommodate the scene clearance process, and part of the roadway was still closed by 9 a.m.
