Serious injury reported in tanker, pickup truck crash in Tampa 

TAMPA, FL – At least one person sustained a serious injury in a T-bone collision between a tanker truck and a pickup truck at North 22nd Street and Selmon Expressway Tuesday.

A photo from WFTS reposted by ABC Action News suggests the crash happened when the driver of the tanker truck was turning right or left and the pickup truck driver struck it. As shown in the picture, the impact of this wreck caused the truck to go completely underneath the truck.

Officers had to close the intersection and then reopened before 9 a.m. No additional details have been reported at this time, including pending citations or charges.
