MOUNT AIRY, GA – A woman operating an F-350 flatbed truck, hauling concrete bricks, experienced a tire blowout, causing her to drift off GA-365 South and crash Tuesday.
This collision happened before 6:45 p.m. near Cody Road, according to Now Habersham. The impact caused the driver to crash into a tree, leading her to sustain injuries.
First responders said an ambulance rushed the woman to Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville, where she is recovering.
Officials closed the southbound lanes from 7:40 p.m. to 8:05 p.m. for the scene clearance process.
