Red light runner dies after hitting Costco truck in West Palm Beach  

WEST PALM BEACH, FL – A 33-year-old woman driving a Buick ran a red light when she crashed into a Costco Wholesale truck, leading to her death Tuesday.

Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office told WFLX that the truck driver had proceeded through the Okeechobee Boulevard and North Jog Road junction on a green light when the woman crashed into the truck’s trailer around 11:27 p.m. Right after the two vehicles collided, the woman perished at the scene.

Additional details show that the truck driver was traveling south on North Jog at the time of the wreck. First responders have not confirmed the truck driver’s condition at this time.
