JONES COUNTY, MS – Fire crews had to extricate a pickup truck driver from their vehicle where they were trapped after colliding with a cement truck on Monday.
This collision happened on Highway 29 after the pickup truck driver had allegedly crashed into the back of the cement truck, seriously damaging the pickup truck’s front bumper, ActionNews5 reported.
A medical helicopter flew the pickup truck motorist to a hospital for treatment of critical, life-threatening wounds, while the cement truck driver was spared from physical harm and declined to be taken to a hospital.
