Driver fails to yield, causing injury crash with semi in Panama City 

PANAMA CITY, FL – An SUV driver failed to yield to on-coming traffic while turning at FL-79 and SR-388, leading them to hit a semi-truck, injuring themself and the truck driver last Friday.

Florida Highway Patrol told WJHG this collision happened while the SUV driver was turning left and while the semi motorist was going south on FL-79. The impact had also caused the semi-truck to overturn.

Troopers said the drivers sustained minor wounds but did not say if they needed to go to a hospital.
