Publix big rig, SUV crash in North Naples sends 1 to hospital 

NORTH NAPLES, FL – First responders took one person to an area hospital for minor wounds after a Publix big rig and an SUV collided, causing the car to overturn Monday.

The Collier County Sheriff’s Office told WINK News this collision occurred around 9 a.m. at the Immokalee Road and Tarpon Bay Boulevard intersection. The impact of this crash led
the car to roll over on its side, while the truck sustained serious front-end damage.

Upon arrival, authorities shut down westbound Immokalee Road for the scene clearance and investigation period.

All lane closures have been lifted since.

The investigation is in its early stages. At this time, deputies have not released other details, including whether anyone was injured.
