Driver escapes injury in tanker truck-train crash in Goose Creek 

GOOSE CREEK, SC – A driver of a tanker truck was able to escape his truck and injuries prior to a CSX train colliding with his vehicle last Thursday. 

Goose Creek Police told WCNC that the events unfolded when the train became stuck while crossing the railroad tracks in the area of Liberty Hall and Redbank Road, and the train hit it. Video footage showed that the train sounded the horn when it collided with the truck, significantly damaging it. 

Police and crews shut down the area for the scene clearance and investigation period.
