2 hurt, 1 killed in propane truck, golf cart crash in Fort Myers 

FORT MYERS, FL – A driver of a propane truck and golf cart passengers sustained minor wounds, and the golf cart operator, a 44-year-old man, passed away in a crash on Saturday. 

Florida Highway Patrol told NBC-2 that the collision happened as the golf cart driver and his passenger were heading south on Winkler Road. The golf cart operator overcorrected, veered off the southbound lanes and into northbound Winkler Road, and hit the propane truck, also on northbound Winkler. 

FHP started an investigation and have not released additional details at this time.
