NEAR BENTON, AR – First responders are investigating the circumstances behind a tractor-trailer collision that happened on I-30 Friday.
Arkansas Department of Transportation told KARK that the collision occurred before 7:30 p.m., and when crews did arrive at the scene, they had to shut down all west and eastbound lanes for the standard collision scene clearance and investigation period.
ARDOT personnel reopened all westbound lanes just before 9 p.m., while all eastbound lanes remained closed.
Amid closures, officials ordered eastbound travelers approaching the collision site to use exit 114 and westbound commuters to use exit 116.
Emergency responders have not confirmed the exact cause of this crash nor said if anyone was injured.
