Driver dies when trash truck overturns near Arab

NEAR ARAB, AL – A 70-year-old man succumbed to fatal wounds after he lost control of his trash truck, which caused it to overturn Sunday. 

This collision occurred at the Ruth Mountain Road and Valley Cruise Lane intersection, according to WAFF. The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office has identified the man as 70-year-old Ronald Lee Knott from Hanceville. 

First responders did not list the events leading up to this crash but did confirm this was a solo crash.
