NEAR NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR – A driver of a fully loaded car hauler sustained minor injuries when he was struck by a train while trying to cross some railroad tracks Tuesday.
The events of this collision unfolded around 12:45 p.m. on Kelly Xing along Kelly Road and Conway Highway when the car hauler’s front wheels got struck, and the back wheels were not able to touch the ground, according to Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.
As the train approached, the driver — Corey Woods from Dallas, Texas — was able to escape his truck, but his trailer was struck.
The train was affiliated with Union Pacific, and no other wounds were reported.
