Driver extricated from overturned trash truck in Miami-Dade Co.

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL – A trash truck driver had to be extricated from their overturned trash truck before being taken to a hospital Monday, Local10 reported. 

This single-truck collision occurred around 11 a.m. on the northbound lanes of Florida’s Turnpike near Northwest 106th Street. The impact of this wreck also caused diesel fuel to spill from the truck. 

Upon arrival, first responders also closed several left lanes on the Turnpike to clean up the spill.
