LEBANON, TN – A 66-year-old man operating a semi-truck lost his life after his truck collided with three other vehicles, which included another semi-truck Tuesday.
This crash happened on I-40, and crews responded to the scene (a mile east of South Hartmann Drive) after 11 p.m., according to The Tennessean. The Lebanon Police Department identified the man as Alvin Cotham and said three other individuals also sustained injuries.
The impact of this wreck led several paper towels, paper products, and tires to scatter across the intersection, leading to clean-up efforts and lane closures that lasted until 4 p.m. Wednesday. During the closures, which included the eastbound lanes, drivers were asked to use Exit 236 going onto Hartmann.
No hazardous materials were involved in this wreck. In addition, officials did not describe the events leading up to this crash.
