Collision with FedEx in Eno big rig sends 2 to hospital

ENO, NC – Two drivers were hospitalized following a collision between an unspecified vehicle and a FedEx truck on I-85 South Wednesday, CBS 17 reported.

This crash happened near U.S. 70. Upon arriving, North Carolina State Highway Patrol had to shut down all southbound lanes near mile marker 168 but allowed the northbound lanes to remain open to accommodate the flow of traffic.

The closures led to delays, which dissipated after troopers reopened all southbound lanes around 7 a.m.

Troopers have not yet provided an update on the current conditions of the two drivers.
