MANOR, TX – A big rig driver managed to escape injuries after a solo crash at the railroad tracks near Old Highway 20 and FM 973 before 9 a.m. Friday.
Very little information about this crash is available. However, according to CBS Austin, it appeared that the truck driver had crashed through a tree line before coming to rest in the middle of the tracks. Photos from the source showed that the truck was not significantly damaged.
Manor Police Department, Travis County Sheriff’s Office, and Travis County Emergency Services District 12 all responded to the scene. Parademics examined the driver for any pain/injuries and confirmed they did not need to go to a hospital.
Authorities started an investigation and have not released additional details at this time.
