News: 1 extricated after crash with trash truck near Bluff Springs 

AUSTIN, TX – Fire rescue crews extricated a pin-in occupant from their vehicle following a collision that involved a trash truck in the Bluff Springs area Monday. 

Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services said this crash happened in the 8700 block of Old Lockhart Highway, indicating they arrived at the scene before noon. 

STAR Flight and additional ambulances were originally requested to come to the scene. However, their services were called off after the extrication process. 

No other details, including the exact cause of this crash, have been made available.
