LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC – A 45-year-old woman riding a bicycle lost his life after he collided with a tractor-trailer on Platt Springs Road Tuesday.
The State said this collision happened around 6:45 a.m. near Enterprise Parkway. South Carolina Highway Patrol, who responded to the scene, said the cyclist died at the scene.
The Lexington County Coroner identified the victim as Margaret Fisher. Troopers started an investigation but have not been able to say if the driver (who was unharmed) will face charges or provide additional commentary on the exact cause of this crash.
