JACKSONVILLE, FL – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office had to close several lanes at the I-295 North and Beaver Street junction on Friday after a dump truck overturned.
First responders closed three lanes so that crews could clean up the sand that spilled onto the road, First Coast News reported. Florida Department of Transportation crews left at least one lane open so drivers could get by the crash site.
At the time of reporting, FDOT advised drivers in the area to proceed with caution.
JSO has not disclosed the events leading up to this crash or specified if anyone was injured.
