FRANKLIN, TN – A driver was spared from harm when their garbage truck overturned on I-65 South, spilling several loads of asphalt into the road Wednesday.
WSMV said this collision occurred before 4 p.m. Franklin Police, fire crews, and clean-up crews all were summoned to the scene and shut down three lanes to accommodate the scene clearance clean-up procedure and investigation.
At the time of reporting, drivers could still get by the crash by merging over into one lane and were told to seek alternative routes if possible.
All lanes have reopened since.
