News: Woman, 63, killed in solo trash truck crash in Rosman 

ROSMAN, NC – A 63-year-old woman operating a trash truck drifted off U.S. 64 West and hit a tree, claiming her life on Monday. 

BlueRidgeNow said this single-truck collision happened before 12:45 p.m. along Silversteen Road. Upon arrival, North Carolina State Highway Patrol declared the woman, Carolyn McCall Lund, dead at the scene. 

Troopers who are taking on this investigation have not revealed if a medical episode played a role in this collision or if she succumbed to injuries sustained in this crash.
