GARDEN RIDGE, TX – A driver of a 2023 Isuzu box truck went into the opposite lane and hit a car head-on, sending him to a hospital and killing the car driver Tuesday.
This crash took place after 8:30 a.m. in the area of Natural Bridge Caverns Road, News 4 San Antonio. The impact led the driver of the 2010 Toyota Sienna — a 16-year-old boy from New Braunfels— to die from his injuries at the scene, while an ambulance took the truck driver to Methodist Northeast Hospital for treatment of serious wounds.
It is not immediately clear why the commercial truck driver was traveling in the wrong lane.
