SHELBY COUNTY, TN — A big rig became disabled after jackknifing early Thursday morning on Interstate 40 in east Memphis, according to Action News 5.
The incident was reported at the transition into Sam Cooper Boulevard, prompting a response from Memphis Police at around 12:00 a.m.
Few details have been released, but officials indicated that the 18-wheeler collided with a concrete barrier before it jackknifed, causing delays in the area.
No injuries to the driver or anyone else have been reported following the event. No other vehicles were involved.
