CAMPBELL COUNTY, TN — Long delays were reported Tuesday evening on Interstate 75 near Pioneer following a semi-truck crash, according to WVLT.
The accident happened on the southbound lanes of I-75 near mile marker 148 and was first reported by the Campbell County Office of Emergency Management & Homeland Security.
At the time of WVLT’s report at 7:27 p.m., the interstate’s right southbound lane and right shoulder were blocked, leaving only the left southbound lane open. Motorists were advised to find alternate routes, as a miles-long traffic backup was impacting the area.
A photo taken at the scene shows the big rig at rest off the roadway.
Officials did not immediately report any injuries or hospital transports associated with the crash.
