JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL — Icy road conditions contributed to a semi-truck accident Tuesday near Morris, according to WANE.
While the exact location of the wreck was not disclosed, footage captured by an eyewitness, Travis Johnston, indicates the semi lost control before veering across all lanes of Interstate 65 and rolling over the guardrails.
That same day, icy road conditions were reported throughout the region. On Monday, the day before, other weather-related crashes were reported on I-65 near the town of Cullman, prompting a closure that impacted lanes in both directions for hours.
As of this writing, local officials have not confirmed any significant injuries connected to the semi wreck or the other accidents.
