PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL — Two people had to be flown to a hospital late Friday, January 5, after a multi-injury wreck near Belle Glade, according to WPBF.
The accident happened at about 11:00 p.m., on a stretch of State Highway 80 (U.S. Highway 98) about 4.5 west of Connors Highway.
Authorities have not released a sequence of events leading up to the crash, but a tractor-trailer and a sedan were involved.
First responders arrived to find the vehicles at rest on the median and on the westbound highway.
Two people were flown by TraumaHawk to an area trauma center, and one of the other two injured was transported via ground ambulance.
An investigation by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office remains underway.
