CHEROKEE COUNTY, GA — Part of southbound Interstate 75 near east Acworth was closed Wednesday morning following a tractor-trailer wreck, reports 11Alive.
The collision took place on the southbound lanes of I-75 at the Woodstock Road bridge. It was first reported by the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office at 5:48 a.m.

Officials have not described the events leading up to the crash, but by 6:00 a.m., traffic was able to pass by the scene through a single far-left lane.
Motorists were advised to find alternate routes around the area, including Highway 41/Cobb Parkway, or taking Highway 92 to I-575, then back to I-75.
No injuries or hospital transports from the crash site were immediately reported.
