Tractor-trailer overturns, closes part of US-441 SB in Palm Beach County

PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL — Part of southbound U.S. Highway 441 near Lake Worth Beach was blocked Thursday morning after a semi-truck overturned, reports WPTV.

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue crews responded to the scene at the intersection with Lake Worth Road.

The circumstances behind the rollover have not been specified, but officials indicated that the tractor-trailer was transporting mulch, which spill across the roadway.

One person was transported to an area hospital from the scene, but the severity of their condition has not been disclosed.

All southbound lanes remained shut down until shortly before noon, when crews had cleared the scene.
