PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL — A man was rushed to a hospital Tuesday following a semi-truck crash on the Florida’s Turnpike near West Palm Beach, reports First Coast News.
The accident took place on a stretch of the turnpike that runs over Bee Line Highway, just northwest of Dyer Park.
It’s unclear what led up to the crash, but Palm Beach Fire Rescue crews arrived on the scene to find the semi’s cab hanging off the side of the Florida’s Turnpike overpass.
Officials said the driver, who was the semi’s sole occupant, is expected to make a recovery.
No other vehicles appear to have been involved, and no charges have been reported.
